I can understand why some may not be able to hang in there in the beginning. The beginning contains many names and places that are foreign to some of us, so it takes a bit more focus than most books, but that’s just the start.

If you can make it past the first 30 minutes of the book, you’ll be so happy you did!

This man is truly a pattern for all those who seek to live a life for Christ and the church. I suggest starting with this book, then checking out The Normal Christian Life by Watchman Nee. I don’t care how long you’ve been a believer, if you haven’t touched this yet, YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY. These two books will change the way you see your Christian living.

I’m pretty tough when it comes to sad stories, but I’ll admit right now that I cried at the end of this book.

May the Lord richly bless all who hear this.
