World War 3 destroyed the humankind. The earth is vacant now. Huge towns became debris and ashes. Railroads are being consumed by rust. Empty satellites hang lonesome on the orbit. Radio is mute on all the frequencies.
The only survivors of the previous war were those who managed to get in to the gates of the Metro, the subway system of Moscow city. Its there, a huge selection of ft below the bottom, in the vaults of that which was built as the worlds largest air-raids shelter that individuals make an effort to outlive the finish of the times. Its there that they created a fresh world for themselves.
The stations of Metro became city-states, and its own citizens, torn aside by religions and ideologies are fighting for the now scarce commodities: air, water, and space. This tiny underground world can only just remind humans of an enormous world they were in the past the experts of.
Its been two decades past Doomsday, yet the survivors won’t give up. Probably the most stubborn of these keep cherishing an aspiration: when rays tier from nuclear bombings subsides, they’ll be able to go back to the surface and also have the life span their parents once experienced.
However the most stubborn of the stubborn continues to find other survivors in this huge emptiness that was previously called Globe. His name is Artyom. He’d give anything to lead his own folks from the underground onto the top.
