Comprehensive, evidence-based information to answer questions and provide support as one navigates what to do in the early days following a cancer diagnosis.

Leaning on the practical guidance of two physicians, who themselves have had breast cancer, this invaluable guide on how to cope and deal with a cancer diagnosis should be handed out to every patient facing the unknown during that purgatory between diagnostic procedures and complete diagnostic report results for grading/treatment/surgery/ staging.

Both physicians practice out of the UK, so some of the treatment pathways and terminology may reflect this, however it was still easy for me to glean the concept and apply the wisdom to my own battle across the pond.

I only wish I had read this book last week before I started to tell friends about my own cancer diagnosis.
