Stormy Daniels – Full Disclosure

This program includes an introductory note written and read by Michael Avenatti.

She was already well-known in some circles before March 6, 2018, but that’s probably the first time you heard the name Stormy Daniels. That’s the day she filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump over a nondisclosure agreement negotiated before the election but never signed.

How did Stormy Daniels become the woman willing to take on a president? What is it like to be reviled by some, held up as a beacon of hope by others, and to be an object of fascination to all?

In this audiobook, Stormy Daniels tells her whole story for the first time: about how she came to be a leading actress and director in the adult film business, the full truth about her journey from a rough childhood in Louisiana onto the national stage, and everything about the events that led to the nondisclosure agreement and the behind-the-scenes attempts to intimidate her.

Stormy is funny, sharp, warm, and impassioned by turns. Her story is a thoroughly American one, of a girl who loved reading and horses and who understood from a very young age what she wanted – and who also knew she’d have to get every step of the way there on her own.

People can’t stop talking about Stormy Daniels. And they won’t be able to stop talking about her fresh, surprising, completely candid, nothing-held-back audiobook.

I Bought both the audio and kindle versions to support a woman I knew nothing about except that she was porn star who had low enough standards to let tRUMP near her. Knowing what a litigious bully he is, I wanted to support her regardless of the quality of the book, frankly. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this story is. She holds nothing back and doesn’t try to sugar coat her role in this mess. I know what tRUMP’s base is like, and I don’t doubt her account of a complete stranger approaching her with her very young child and openly threatening her life, implying a threat to the well-being of her child, that’s just how his base rolls. I am left feeling less like she wrote this book for money and more like her motivation was exactly as the title describes, full disclosure to divest this bully-driven base of their power. The story.is out there and their power is gone. Ms. Daniels’ book is not just about tRUMP, although she spared no details and leaves nothing to the imagination, he’s exactly what you would expect in every way, but she gives an interesting and generous account of who she is and what has motivated her to make choices that many of us would find questionable. She explains the reach of tRUMP’s support team and the odd collusion he exploits with police departments in towns like Cleveland and even The National Enquirer, which is oddly fitting and brings forth questions about the profitability of paying high dollar for negative news items about tRUMP and then burying them. Well worth purchasing just to support her, and surprisingly well worth reading for the ring of truth and for the questions both raised and answered.
